Flying Solo is an innovative fashion brand and an organization of fashion designers that is revolutionizing the fashion industry by putting designers in control of retail, co-working spaces, NYFW & PFW runway shows, PR and more.
Over the past 2.5 years, Flying Solo has grown from a small shop in NoLita into a fashion powerhouse with two luxury manhattan locations.
With more than 80 designers, Flying Solo has become the most eclectic showcase of independent fashion design in the world. FS's NYFW shows, held biannually, is the largest show of independent fashion on the NYFW calendar, boasting more than 360 looks and 80 models on the runway.
434 West Broadway 6500 sq ft. is the Flagship store of Flying Solo, located in the heart of SoHo. Neighboring other retailers and luxury brands such as La Perla, Karl Lagerfeld, French Connection and more.The location previously housed notable brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Cavalli, and is one of a few select historical buildings in SoHo where New York fashion saw its emergence and growth.
THE COPPER ROOM
The Copper Room, 5000 sq ft., at 76 Wooster St. is Flying Solo's more private location for press, VIP and celebrity appointments, stylist pulls during weekdays.
On the weekend it's opened up to the public for retail. - in addition the large lower level serves as a co-working space for Flying Solo designers to fully utilize.
Our immediate neighbors for 76 Wooster st are Gucci, Moschino, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior. The building is a NYC landmark having been occupied by Andy Warhol and Michel Basquiat as an artist studio in the 1980s, and by Yoko Ono for her John Lennon exhibition back in 2011.
